She specializes in issues connected with borderline products, health claims and also novelty food. Professionally, she has been active in this field for more than 10 years. She is an external expert of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. In the years 2007-2011, she was a member of an advisory team for dietary supplements. In her capacity of a consultant, she collaborates with the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry, implementing numerous projects, connected, among others, with the qualification of products, introducing them in the market, and also with marking, presenting and advertising. She delivers lectures at training events and conferences. Working in the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, she was concerned with the notifications of dietary supplements and also procedures relevant to new food ingredients. She has participated in the works of a working group for novel food of the European Commission in Brussels.

She graduated as a food technologist, and completed studies at the Faculty of Food Technology of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw.

 

Iwona Kowalczyk - Andrzejewska

For little fewer than 15 years, she has been concerned with the issues of dietary supplements, food for special nutritional purposes and also enriched products. She carries out consulting projects in this field for the companies of the food industry and pharmaceutical industry, and participates in numerous conferences as a lecturer. Her professional experience has been gained in the course ofemployment in theNational Food and Nutrition Institute, and also in the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, serving in the capacity of the coordinator of ‛the Division of RASFF, novelty food, dietary supplements and food for special nutritional purposes. She has participated in works on creating and making amendments to legal regulations connected with food safety.

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumer Sciences of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw.

Joanna Adamczyk

A trainee solicitor, a graduate of the Italian language and a holder of the scholarship of the Faculty of Law of the University of Naples Federico II in Napoli in Italy. She has gained her professional experience, working in the capacity of a lawyer (an associate) in the team of M&A Kancelaria Domański Zakrzewski Palinka Sp. k. (a partnership limited by shares), and also in the capacity of an internal auditor in the Department of Controlling and Audit of the Pekao S.A. bank. She specializes in civil and commercial law, and, in particular, in legal consulting on a current basis, providing services for commercial law companies, drawing up trade contracts and issuing opinions about them. She is a graduate of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Center for Translation Studies in the Institute of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw, a sworn translator of the English language, entered into the list of sworn translators kept by the Minister of Justice (and bearing no. TP/61/11 therein). Currently, she is collaborating with the consultants of the Foodie company on issues within the scope of food law and commercial law, and is also active as a translator from the English and Italian languages.

A legal counsel. In 2008, he was entered into the list kept by the council of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Warsaw. He is graduate of the University of Warsaw, a holder of a scholarship at the Faculty of Law of the University in Maastricht; he also completed studies at the Center of English and European Law of the Institute of Continuing Education of Cambridge University. He has gained his professional experience, among others, working in the law office Rymar and Wspólnicy (Associates), in the capacity of a legal counsel in a company producing foodstuffs and also in the Agency for Agricultural Market. He is in the possession of rich professional experience within the scope of civil procedure and administrative procedure, and also civil law and economic law. In Foodie, he has been a successful consultant within the scope of food law, including administrative proceedings before controlling bodies, mainly PPIS and WIS. He prepares appeals from the decisions of bodies and also legal opinions.
